Taiji Qi Yoga Group Session with Ping Lu-Timecard (NRC Offline & Zoom Online)
* The timecard can be used for any of the following 4 sessions Monday to Sunday all year around:
9:00-9:30am: Free Meditation
1) 9:30-10:30am: Awakening Taiji Qi
Ping will guide the Morning Session with Mindfulness Relaxation Meditation, Mantra Chanting, 5 Virtue Contemplation on Emotions , warm up with the Joint Exercise, Qi Exercise and Spiral Rotation Movement;
2) 10:30-11:30am: Chen’s Tai Chi for Health and Wellness
Ping will guide the Afternoon Session with Chen’s Tai Chi 18 Essential Movements: 1)Starting Posture, 2)Buddha’s Warrior Pounding Mortar, 3)Lazy about Tucking the Robe, 4)Six Sealing Four Closing, 5) Single Whip, 6)White Goose Spreads Wings, 7)Diagonal Step, 8)Grab the Knee, 9)Twisted Step, 10)Covering Hand Punch, 11)High Pat on Horse, 12)Left Heel Kick, 13) Fair Lady Works at Shuttles, 14)Wave Hands, 15) Turn Around with Double Lotus Kick, 16)Cannon to the Face, 17)Buddha’s Warrior Pounds Mortar, 18) Closing Posture
Optional for 6 Sections of Chen’s Tai Chi Old Frame 1.
11:30-1:00pm: Lunch
3) 1:00-2:00pm: Taiji Qi Yoga Flow
Ping will warm up the session with Joint Exercise, Qi Exercise, Spiral Rotation Movement and continue leading Taiji Qi Yoga Flow by applying the key principles such as “Mindfulness Relaxation” and “Spiral Rotation” in Sun Salutation, Standing Flow, Backbend, Lying down, Sitting, Belly Down, Headstand and Restorative movements. The principles are based on the Fusion Wisdom of Tai Chi, Qi and Yoga.
4) 2:00pm-3:00pm: Restorative Yoga

Ping’s Session consists of the following parts which will be customized to to Participants’ needs, interests and circumstances:
- Mindfulness Relaxation Meditation: Ping will introduce the human body structure and share the mindfulness relaxation technique – 8 Warrior Mantras and Yoga Nidra, to guide you easily to connect your mind with your physical body, stay centered and balanced as possible as you can, either in stillness or motion movement.
- Mantra Chanting: Ping will lead the sound healing through chanting different words or mantras corresponding to different planes – Physical, Energetic, Emotional, Causal, Mental, Etheric, and Soul planes. Ping believes that through connecting with the Spirit, the exercise and healing becomes easier, safer, more effective, and more powerful.

- Contemplation on Emotions: 5 Virtues vs. 5 Passions Technique for Emotional & Mental Balance. Ping believes that blockage of energy in the human’s body is caused by karma in past lives, which is deeply deep rooted and created due to the five passions of the mind – anger, greed, vanity, attachment and lust. By constantly practicing the Five Virtues – right discrimination, tolerance and forgiveness, contentment, detachment and humility, one can offset these passions and awaken the “Essential Qi (Taiji Qi)” of the energetic body, one of the life forces within, thereby achieving health and longevity.
- Joints Exercise-Spiral Rotation: Ping will explain the importance of Joints Health for balance and overall heath, raise awareness of “non harming” during daily exercises, and lead the Joints Exercise by applying “Mindfulness Relaxation “ and “Spiral Rotation”.
- Taiji Qi – the Vital Qi for Yin and Yang Balance Healing: Qi in Chinese word means “breath”. Ping will share her own discovery of “Taiji Qi” – vital qi, energy, life force within, or essential breath, her knowledge of the 8 Extraordinary Meridians, Kundalini Nadis, Micro & Macro Cosmoses, and the secret of awakening and its vital role in joints opening, balancing yin and yang, and healing bone structures and internal organs, for health and longevity.
- Taiji Qi Yoga – the Fusion of Tai Chi, Qi and Yoga: Ping will lead the flow with applying the “Mindfulness Relaxation” and “Spiral Rotation” in traditional Yoga Sun Salutation, Warrior Flow, Backbend, Lying down, Sitting, Belly Down, Headstand and Restorative movements. The principles are based on the Fusion Wisdom of Tai Chi, Qi and Yoga.
- Tai Chi (Taiji Quan): Chen’s Tai Chi 18 Movement for Health and Wellness. Ping will introduce this Tai Chi Flow with emphasis on “Mindfulness Relaxation ” and “Spiral Rotation” in the flow.
- Questions and Answers: Ping will answer your questions with her experience.
