Ping Lu is a Spirit Mind Body Integration Healer and the Creator and Teacher of Taiji Qi Yoga-the fusion of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Yoga. She teaches an effective, easy and safe way to befriend the Self, heal the bodies, reach yin and yang balance, and achieve good health, happiness and freedom.
She is a follower of the teachings of Eckankar whose soul awakening journey started with her dream study at its Spiritual Centre in Toronto, Canada.
After the birth of her fourth child, Ping felt the need to improve her health. At the encouragement of her yoga friend, she decided to become a yoga teacher.
During her Yoga Teachers Training in 2014 under Ruth van der Voort, Creator of Synergy Movement Yoga and Director of the Toronto Yoga Conference and Show, her three diaphragms got restored unexpectedly. Out of curiosity about her body’s transformation, she studied Yoga Mind, Body and Spirit and The Breathing Book by Donna Farhi, both required by the Yoga Teachers Training, and found a connection to the teachings and the Teacher. She decided to attend this internationally renowned yoga teacher’s intensive in Beijing in 2016. Unexpectedly again, her energetic body (the Essential Qi, Taiji Qi) got awakened. This secured her faith in the method and her commitment to the journey. She subsequently attended Donna Farhi’s intensives in Sydney, Dublin, Iceland and Spain. She completed Farhi’s Art of Teaching training online during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2018, Ping became one of Chen Style Tai Chi Master Chen Zhenglei’s “closing disciples” at the encouragement of her brother who is a disciple of Master Chen’s and the referral of her friend who is the older daughter of Master Chen’s. She completed the training and became an Internationally Certified Instructor of ”Chen’s Tai Chi for Health and Wellness.”
Ping has also been following Teacher Matthew Cohen, Creator of Sacred Energy Art, for the fusion of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Yoga.
Based on her experience in integrated healing – healing of the wholeness of spirit, mind and body through multidimensional bodies, Physical Body, Energetic Body, Emotional Body, Causal Body, Mental Body, Etheric Body and Soul Body, she believes that blockage of energy in the human’s body is caused by karma in past lives, which is deeply deep rooted and created due to the five passions of the mind – anger, greed, vanity, attachment and lust. By constantly practicing the Five Virtues – right discrimination, tolerance and forgiveness, contentment, detachment and humility, one can offset these passions and awaken the “Essential Qi” of the energetic body, one of the life forces within, clear the eight extraordinary meridians, heal bones and internal organs, and balance yin and yang, thereby achieving good health and longevity.
