Ping believes that through connecting with the Spirit, the exercise and healing becomes easier, safer, more effective, and more powerful.
2) Contemplations on Emotions and 5 Virtues Practice. Ping believes that blockage of energy in the human’s body is caused by karma in past lives, which is deeply deep rooted and caused the five passions of the mind – anger, greed, vanity, attachment and lust. By constantly practicing the Five Virtues – right discrimination, tolerance and forgiveness, contentment, detachment and humility, one can offset these passions and awaken the “Essential Qi (Taiji Qi)” of the energetic body, one of the life forces within, thereby achieving health and longevity.
3) Awakening Taiji Qi – the Essential Breath, the Vital Qi : “Taiji Qi” means Essential Breath, Embryonic Breath, Viata Qi, Internal Qi, Life Force within. Ping will share her own restoration of “Taiji Qi”, the knowledge of 8 Extraordinary Meridians, Kundalini Nadis, Micro & Macro Cosmoses, and the secret of awakening and its vital role in joints opening, balancing yin and yang, and healing bone structures and internal organs, for health and longevity.
Ping will introduce some Qi Exercise technique and movements too.
4) Guided Meditation and the Restorative Series: Ping will guide you the meditation on mindfulness relaxation of the joints and whole body. She will introduce you the Restorative practices with the support from the chairs, straps, bolsters, blankets or towels.
5) Mindfulness Yoga Flow
Ping will warm up the session with Joint Exercise, Spiral Silk Rolling Rotation Movement and continue leading Taiji Qi Yoga Flow by applying the mindfulness on Warrior’s Movement Principles in Sun Salutation, Standing Flow, Backbend, Lying down, Sitting, Belly Down, Headstand and Stillness Exercises. The principles are based on the Fusion Wisdom of Tai Chi, Qi and Yoga.
6) Tai Chi for Health and Wellness with Chen’s Tai Chi 6 Heads 4 Directions
Ping will introduce Chen’s Tai Chi First 6 Movements, with the emphasis on the “Tai Chi Warrior’s Mindfulness Movement Principles” and “Spiral Silk-Rolling Rotation”. The 6 Movements are: 1)Starting Posture, 2)Buddha’s Warrior Pounding Mortar, 3) Tucking the Robe, 4)Six Sealing Four Closing, 5) Single Whip, 6)Buddha’s Warrior Pounding Mortar
Tai Chi Warrior’s Mindfulness Movement Principles: Chen’s Tai Chi requires using the mind to guide Qi all over the body and lead the body movement. The Inner Qi will guide the body spiral movement from the Dan Tian, twisting from the waist, through 8 extraordinary meridians, and reach to the 4 tips, and return back to the Dan Tian.
Spiral Silk-Rolling Rotation: Chen’s Taiji Quan is also named for “Silk-Rolling Quan”. Chen Xin says: “Taiji Quan, is silk- rolling exercises. The whole body is silk-rolling force which originates from the heart, inner reaching to the bone joints, outer reaching to the skin. The silk-rolling energy reaches to the skin like screws. Silk-rolling practitioners, use the middle channel Qi. If one doesn’t understand this, he or she doesn’t understand Taiji Quan. ”
By adapting to the unique methods in collecting, accumulating, and exercise the Qi (vital energy) and mindfulness, it forms a system that organically combines the mind, the qi, the physical forms and the breathing into one set of exercises for wellness. Difficult moves are omitted, making the remaining moves easy to learn and master. The main characteristics are the quick results in qi accumulation, strong sensation of qi and effective health benefits. There is no negative side effect from practicing. It can have positive effects in helping lower blood pressure, correcting coronary heart disease, bone dysplasia, neurasthenia, gastritis and other chronic diseases. The form is not limited by time, site or other conditions. It is suitable for all.
