Chen’s Taichi Spear is also called “Pear Blossom Spear with White Ape Staff”.  It is one of the long weapons in Chen’s Taichi system. With combined spear and staff techniques, this routine includes the spear’s linear piercing style as well as the staff’s wide coverage.  It requires the practitioner to train with unique Chen’s Taichi coiling and sticking methods and therefore it is called “Chen’s Taichi Spear”.
